Terms of Service

By using SmartFileConverters you agree to these terms. Last updated: November 2026.

Free and Pro

Most tools are free and need no account. Premium features (Office documents, audio, video, OCR, translation, password ZIP and similar) require an account and an active Pro subscription.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Account & Pro → Manage billing; access continues until the end of the paid period. If a payment fails you keep access for a short grace period while we retry.

Refunds

If something went wrong, email support@smartechapps.com within 7 days of a charge and we will review a refund.

Fair use

Pro includes generous limits: file size per job, jobs per day, data per month and simultaneous jobs (shown on your Account page). Do not use the service to process unlawful content, to attack or overload it, to resell access, to share your login, or to scrape, copy or automate the service or its code at scale.

Your files

You keep all rights to your files. Files are processed temporarily and deleted as soon as the result is returned. Results are provided as-is; keep your own backups.

Accounts

Keep your password private. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You may ask us to delete your account at any time.

Ownership

The SmartFileConverters website, design and code are © SmarTech Apps. Third-party components keep their own licences (see About).

Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent allowed by law, SmarTech Apps is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
